The Oakes Area Chamber of Commerce keeps a full 12-month schedule of events and programs for Chamber Businesses and Community Members. These gatherings are great opportunities to get to know new people and expand their prospect base. Chamber events are innovative and fun ways to help members meet potential customers, clients and vendors.
Events are designed to build your business, whether through training, promotion, networking or community service, with a twofold benefit of enriching our community.

Held the 4th Wednesday of the month at 12:00 pm (noon) in the Chamber office (501 Main Ave.)

The purpose of Oakes Bucks is to encourage shopping locally. Oakes Bucks are considered cash…because valid “bucks” are guaranteed by the Chamber. Any Chamber Member Business can accept Oakes Bucks in exchange for services, merchandise or purchases."
Oakes Bucks are time-dated. To keep the bank account current and stable, bills are issued with an expiration 1 year from the month they are given.
How do you get Oakes Bucks? Simply contact the Chamber office to purchase Oakes Bucks in the dollar amount needed. All Oakes Bucks require an official stamp and authorized initially, therefore planning ahead is strongly suggested. If a receipt is required, please include that in the initial request.
